Sleepy Puppy

Daisy is very sleepy during the day and has not been too sleepy at night. On Saturday night she cried for hours. Last night was a little bit better. :) Here are a few sleeping shots.

I've accidently called her "Fiona" once. :) She sure looks like her sleeping on her bed!

Crying at night...

For the record I was the one willing to let her "cry it out" this morning but it's CHRIS who can't handle the crying. I guess we know who the softy is. :)

Driving Miss Daisy (home)

We picked Daisy up at 4:30 on Friday afternoon and drove her home. We left Chris' car at my school so I had to drive for about 20 minutes while holding her in my lap. Thankfully she was pretty calm by then because she can be REALLY active! :)

Last night she slept pretty well, but wanted to be up and moving at 5:30 this morning. We tried to explain the concept of "Saturday" to her but she wasn't buying it. :) We took her to the vet this morning and she said she looks great and everything is perfect (but then we already knew that!) Here are some pictures for your viewing pleasure.

She likes to snuggle right up against our face and neck. :)

To Crate or not to Crate (train)?

Here is a picture of Daisy and her brother. We got to meet her over Spring Break at the breeder's house. Isn't she so cute?!

Today is Wednesday, April 25th and we're two days away from picking up Daisy. We're very excited and little unsure about what we're acutally going to do with her. I've been trying to do as much research as possible and the whole idea of "Crate Training" is quite the phenomenon. It seems like people are pretty passionate about it. I don't remember our family crate training our dog (Fiona) growing up?! I don't think I can handle the idea of Daisy crying at night... I have a feeling she'll be sleeping with us! Anyway, we'll keep you posted!

PS We still haven't decided about Daisy's middle name, but as far as Karin is concerned it is: Daisy Karin so we'll just keep it that way when she is around! :)
